Better Bus Outing: Learn to Navigate the D96 Bus Line from Glover Park to Bethesda

Join volunteer, Lori Shoemaker, as she teaches you how to navigate the D96 Metrobus route from Glover Park to Bethesda.

Bring your SmarTrip card and meet up at the D96 bus stop closest to The Colonnade condominiums to take the bus to Bethesda together!  We'll get off at the Tatte Bakery & Cafe's Bethesda location for refreshment (on your own dime), and then head home again by bus. 

10:00am - meet at Edmunds St NW & 42 St NW (Stop ID: 1005043 - link to map)

10:21am - board the D96 (assuming it's on schedule)

10:48am - disembark at Wisconsin Ave & Waverly St and walk 200 feet (1-2 minutes) to Tatte Bakery.

We'll spend about an hour there and then take the return trip together. If you want to try out Google Maps on the trip, please try to download the app to your smartphone or tablet at home prior to the trip. GPV volunteer Lori Shoemaker (202-794-2043) will lead the outing. In case of heavy rain, the outing will be postponed to a later date.  In case of light rain, the outing will proceed (bring an umbrella).  Of course, please feel free to stay home if that is best for you.
