Glover Park Village is dedicated to helping older adults in our community, age in place safely and independently, with an enhanced quality of life.

About Glover Park Village

GPV is a volunteer-managed, non-profit organization serving adults who are aging in the community. We provide social and learning events, assistance with transportation, information about aging in the community, and opportunities to share talents and time. All of our activities, programs, and events are designed and coordinated by volunteers and are FREE and open to the public.

Though the DC Department of Aging and Community Living provides some support and resources for DC Villages, we are grateful to our generous community of donors, including the GPCA and ANC 3B.

Volunteers

There are multiple ways to support the village as a volunteer. Working directly with service recipients to: provide transportation to medical appointments, offer companionship, help with minor household tasks. See our full range of services we offer our service recipients here. You can also help the Village directly by assisting at events, giving a class, performance, or lecture. We also need help with publicity, database management, fund raising, and grants management. The volunteer process includes a simple background check which is common practice with all the villages.  Sign up here to volunteer!
