Stories!
Glover Park Village is launching STORIES — a community gathering series centered on the art of sharing and listening. Our stories connect us across difference, dissolve isolation, and remind us of the common threads that run through our human experiences.
There is something that happens when people sit down together and share their stories.
Walls come down. Strangers become neighbors.
We discover—often with surprise—how much we share beneath our differences.
In an age of noise and distraction, we create together something increasingly rare—a slow, intentional space where every voice belongs and every experience matters.
See Events page for upcoming gatherings.

Please volunteer to drive once a month!
We are looking for volunteers to drive once a month to deliver food. It’s easy to plan ahead and know you may be called upon to drive on a specified date. Stay tuned for the SHARE calendar for Friday delivery dates and offer to drive or partner with a driver! We can use your help! Call 202-436-5545 to let us know you can help!
Glover Park Village picks up its food boxes from the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament Church near Chevy Chase Circle which supports the national Catholic SHARE program. See more about the national SHARE program at this link : https://blessedsacramentdc.org/share . You will see what it offers in addition to the $30 Food Box. You are welcome to order food directly from that site but Glover Park Village cannot deliver food that you order on your own - you will need to pick it up.

Many thanks to the Glover Park Citizen’s Association for a subsidizing start-up grant. Other partners in this effort include the Friends of Guy Mason, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, and the residents of Glover Park. We would also like to thank our volunteer Barbara Ferris.
