Cleaning Assistance Pilot Program (CAPP)

Overview of the Program

The new Glover Park Village (GPV) Cleaning Assistance Pilot Program (CAPP) provides housekeeping services that are designed to engender improved living for seniors in the GPV service area. 

As GPV provides this new service, it will review and improve processes to ensure that this program works well and that it measurably improves the quality of life for CAPP Participants.  GPV will also increase other services that CAPP Participants receive.

Overview of Volunteer Involvement

Glover Park Village will brief volunteers on the CAPP program, including details about grant requirements, Housekeeping Service Providers, a GPV survey and data collection requirements.  GPV will train volunteers for their specific roles and encourages questions, comments and suggestions.

Volunteers will be instrumental in the improvement of CAPP grant processes and in the improved quality of life for CAPP ParticipantsGPV will hold regular volunteer sessions in order to get volunteer feedback and suggestions during the grant period.

Volunteer support will be crucial to the success of this program.  The categories of anticipated Volunteer tasks are detailed below.  The processes and tasks listed below will be improved and adapted as we proceed through this pilot program.

Volunteer Opportunities Available

Direct Service Volunteers

Volunteers that personally coordinate with CAPP Participants to arrange services and ensure that they are delivered as needed and requested.

Coordinator Volunteers

Volunteer coordinator to work with the Housekeeping Service Provider to arrange, schedule and customize services.

Service Expansion Volunteer

Volunteers that arrange for CAPP Participants to receiveadditional GPV services and to participate in GPV events, programs, etc.

Data Management & Reporting Volunteers

Volunteers that regularly review the data that is collected and reported to the GPV, ensure that surveys are conducted, the data is analyzed and reported.  A final report will be developed, approved and submitted.
