Who Can You Trust?

Financial Exploitation of Older Adults

Tuesday, May 19th
1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Guy Mason Recreation Center
Free!

Every day we hear about online scams and frauds, but we may not be aware that financial exploitation by people we trust is a very real threat to older adults. How can it happen? How can we recognize the danger? And how can we protect ourselves from abuse?

Join us as we learn from Judith Kozlowski, an Elder Justice consultant and an expert in the financial exploitation of older adults. She is a Senior Fellow at the Women’s Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER), consults with non-profits and government agencies, and often addresses national conferences on aging. She is a former state and federal fraud prosecutor, a founding member of the National Center for State and Tribal Elder Justice Coalitions.

This program is brought to us by our colleagues at IONA Senior Services, where Judith serves as a board member.
