Staying Sharp in 2026

Language Learning for All

Tuesday, February 3rd
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Guy Mason Rec Center

Come join us for a hands-on/brains-on exploration of how we can all learn and remember words (and other things). We’ll practice some of the proven techniques that trained linguists apply to keep their brains sharp.

Dr. Elka Todeva, professor emerita at SIT Graduate Institute, World Learning Inc., is a linguist, simultaneous interpreter, and an educator who has worked with students and teachers in over 20 countries. Among her publications is the book The Multiple Realities of Multilingualism: Personal Narratives and Researchers’ Perspectives.
