That’s “Us” as in, Our species. The human race. Homo Sapiens. Everybody reading this, along with the 8 billion other people, give or take, who are currently crowding into just about every corner of our planet.

  • When, where and how did we come to be?

  • How did one band of stone-tool-using African migrants manage to populate Europe and Asia – more than a million years before Neanderthals or Homo sapiens even existed?

  • How did another band of African migrants then give rise to every human being alive today?

  • How did we end up as the only human species on this planet? Because once upon a time there were others...
